College & Career Counselor Sets Up Shop |

Students have a new resource to help them figure out what to do after high school. Dr. Brenda Prine is LHHS' new College & Career Counselor. She says her first order of business is to make sure every junior and senior signs up to take the SAT or ACT and is ready to apply for college.
 Dr. Prine has set up shop just inside the south library door. Her hours will be regular school hours 8:30 - 4:10. Students can sign up to see her, and she will call them down. She will do all college advising, have online access for students to apply for SAT, ACT and online college applications. Paper applications will also be available if needed.
Dr. Prine says her goal is to make sure all seniors have completed an application to an institution of higher learning or pursued a career track. There will be special emphasis on creating a "culture of college" and guiding first time college families through the process.
