From Your Class President Print E-mail

Greetings sen10rs! (Get it?!? Our middle name is '10!)
I hope you are sitting down, because we've got an announcement that will knock your socks off. The senior class of 2010 - best in the history of Lake Highlands - is planning a PROM which promises to be the best ever, too. AT HOUSE OF BLUES! (Can I get a what-what?!?) Caroline Keffer, Stephen Holmes, Chris George, Steven Heger and I want to thank senior principal Michelle King for helping us make this happen. Now we need YOUR help.

Please join us at the senior parent meeting September 23rd in the LHHS Student Center at 7 pm to get more details and hear our plans for the year. We'll also tell you more about graduation, scheduled for June 6th at 5 pm, and the Senior All Night Party to be held later that night.

In the meantime, there are many ways you can support the senior class:
1) Buy a t-shirt! Tees with a Luckenback theme ("Everybody's somebody in Lake Highlands!") are great for wearing to Wildcat sporting events. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - to choose your color and size.
2) Pick up your "Peace, Love, Lake Highlands!" roadie cups, great for tailgate parties. $5 for a sleeve of 10 cups, and they make a perfect gift. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it can help you with this.
3) Keep your eye out for flocks of flamingos landing in your yard this fall. You'll pay a $25 charge to have them removed, but you'll get to CHOOSE whose house gets flocked next. It's all in good fun, plus you can get service hours for helping move the flocks from house to house - just contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. And don't forget SERVICE will be one of the big themes of our senior year. Listen for opportunities to serve, and don't forget to document your hours.

And, if you are not attending the Wildcat football games, please consider this my personal invitation to join the fun. YOU are an important part of our class, and WE WANT YOU to be a part of all the great memories of our senior year.

Your Senior Class President of ‘10,
Ben Toler, 214-533-1596
